Questions
Good questions, straight answers.
Can’t find what you’re looking for? Call or send us a message. We’re happy to help.
Will I get an estimate before you start work?
Yes. We diagnose first, then give you a written estimate. Work starts only after you approve it, and if we find anything else along the way, we call you before doing it.
Do you work on lawn mowers and other small engines?
We do: push and riding mowers, generators, pressure washers, chainsaws, trimmers, blowers, snow blowers and more. Bring it in, or call and describe the problem.
Will servicing my car here affect my new-car warranty?
Generally, no. In the U.S. you’re free to have routine maintenance done at an independent shop without voiding your manufacturer’s warranty, as long as the work follows the recommended schedule and uses parts and fluids that meet the manufacturer’s specifications. We give you a detailed invoice for your records.
How often should I change my oil?
It depends on your engine, the oil it uses and how you drive. Many newer vehicles on synthetic oil go 5,000 to 10,000 miles between changes. Your owner’s manual is the best guide, and we’re happy to recommend an interval that fits your driving.
